Welcome to the 21st Century After School Program Cycle 6 site!  Please enter and learn more about the 21st Century grant at Amarillo ISD.

The 21st Century Grant is formally known as the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21CCLC) grant.  Funding originates with the U.S. Department of Education, and is administered as a competitive grant via the Texas Education Agency.  AISD has two (2) versions of this grant for after school programs - the older Cycle 6 grant, and the new Cycle 7 grant that began with the 2011-12 school year.

Facts about AISD's Cycle 6 21st Century After School program:
Serves approx 1000 elementary school students on 9 campuses
-- Designed to improve academics, attendance, and behavior
-- Provides after school homework assistance, innovative lessons, and enrichment activities
-- During school year - open 3pm-6pm, Monday - Friday, usually every day school is open
Currently in year 5 (2013-14 school year) of 5 year funding cycle
-- Funding ends June 2014
